- The program is one afternoon per week for 8-10 weeks each school term.
- Classes are an experience of art exploration, and creative expression.
- Students explore creativity, watercolours, acrylics, mixed media and collage.
- Art provides a road way to self-discovery, self-esteem and self-expression.
- Each work of art generates a sense of achievement in the child who creates it.
- Art may help stimulate memory and understanding by engaging the whole brain.
